Hi! I'm here now. Order will be restored. 8)

Whatever you see, it isn't ours. We don't use any favicon at all on user pages. The cat's eye is on the ababa main site only. Can you please tell me the URL to one of your pages where you see this thing?

OK, the site in your sig. :D

I see the spinning thing in FF. In some other browsers I see what I think is your own favicon. I don't find a favicon.ico or a LINK to an image to be used as favicon. How do you get it there?

OK, I've figured it out. 8)

FF acts very peculiar, I must say. The LINK is in the redirection frameset. That makes our script consider it to be hotlinking and it sends the graphic hotlinkers get and FF minimizes it. So far so good. But I accessed your pages directly, w/o the redirection, and I still saw the spinning thing. So FF must have cached it even if it isn't even the same domain. Don't know what it's up to.

I'm afraid we can't do anything about this. I'd remove the favicon link in the redirection frameset page. Try to use it with the frameset here instead. Don't know if that'll work, but it's worth a try. :)

In the same way you got it in there. You must have added the favicon when you set the redirection with dl.am up. Log in to your account with them and you should be able to delete it. :)

Not the file. The link to it. The frameset your redirection service uses has this in HEAD.
Code: Select all
<link rel="icon" href="http://ballz.ababa.net/radioaccess/images/favicon.GIF" type="image/ico">

View Source and you'll see it. You must have told them to put that in when you set it up. So there must be a way to remove it, too.

Since the image is requested from another domain (dl.am) the server sees it as hotlinking, blocks your image and sends ours instead. We have to do this or people would store images here for forum posts, auctions and so on and that uses up a lot of transfer if they post on popular sites. :(

Are you with me? :)
